After coffee, cakes, and a chat with friends we welcomed our speaker Vena East. Vena told us about Tai Chi and how she got involved with it; she then invited us to stand (or sit) as she led us through gentle warm-up exercises. She then moved on to different movements explaining each one in turn. The grand finale came when Vena put on soothing music, and we went through all the movements again in one continuous sequence.
Kay Hygate gave the vote of thanks which was heartily endorsed by all the members.
